These plant-based foods have been shown to reduce inflammation, boost the immune system, and support overall health, especially when eaten in their raw, natural form. Try to fill your plate with fresh fruits and vegetables in a rainbow of colors to ensure you're getting a wide range of nutrients. A good rule of thumb is to divide your body weight (pounds) in half and aim to drink at least that many ounces of water per day to stay well hydrated and help support healthy digestion. (Example: Someone with a body weight of 140 pounds would need at least 70 ounces of water per day to stay hydrated and even more if they consume caffeinated beverages or alcohol.) Remember, healing from chronic illnesses takes time and patience but happens more rapidly when you embrace these healing nutritional changes.
